General Office Assistance

The Elisa Project needs a volunteer to assist with general office duties, during business hours, on a regular basis.  We need assistance with the following:

     Updating our resource and referral guide

     Updating Exceed (our database)

     Writing letters of acknowledgment

     Assisting with mailings

     Taking library inventory

     Taking supply inventory

     Ordering supplies, brochures, and other materials

     Answering phones

Grant Researcher

The Elisa Project needs a volunteer with strong research skills to assist our grant writer in researching potential funding sources.

Presentation Speaker

The Elisa Project is interested in building a speaker's bureau of volunteers who are qualified to give presentations on our behalf. The power point presentations are designed by our Program Director. Presentations are given to parent groups (such as PTAs) and students (typically middle school). Presentation topics generally include any combination of the following topics: body image, eating disorder awareness, healthy living, and general nutrition.   Presentation speakers must have experience with public speaking and have an educational background in nutrition, dietetics, or psychology.

Web Support

The Elisa Project needs a volunteer who is proficient in web design to help us update our web site on an as-needed basis.
